This is a 36-48 hour class that provides in-depth coverage of the practical and theory aspects of programmable logic controllers. Thanks to a much improved lab facility this class has been greatly expanded from last semester and covers Programmable Controls in much more depth. Some of the items covered are understanding binary, decimal, hexadecimal numbers, Boolean math, digital logic, algebra terms, external inputs, external outputs, internal relays, timers, counters, control circuitry, schematic design, ladder diagrams, hardwire devices such as stop buttons, start buttons, overload contacts, starter contactors, other make and break devices and understanding how to bring it all together and program it in a PLC Logic Ladder Diagram.
Whether you have experience with programmable controllers or are almost completely new to the concept, this class will take your knowledge and skills to the next level.
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn Programmable Controls from ETC Master Instructor Bob Foster!
