This is a thirty hour course that covers all aspects of motors in use today. It will begin with a thorough review of magnetic principles and induction and move to an exploration of polyphase motors, wound rotor motors, synchronous motors, and single phase motors.
It is important that each student bring pencil, paper, highlighter(s) and a calculator to class.
IMPORTANT: You must be a JW, CE, CW, Apprentice, or Contractor Employee affiliated with the Atlanta Electrical Contractors Association and IBEW Local 613 to participate in this class.
